NR 5 - CIPA - Internal Commission for Accident Prevention
With the objective of preventing accidents, illnesses arising from work, identifying risks and seeking solutions to avoid any damage to the health of workers, thus guaranteeing their integrity the Ministry of Economy ( work) requires the creation of ainternal commission of accident prevention(CIPA), regulated by theRegulatory Standard 5 (NR5).
The CIPA Training aims to educate for the practice of Occupational Safety, with the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention having the objective of preventing accidents and illnesses resulting from work, so as to to make work permanently compatible with the preservation of life and the promotion of workers' health.
CIPA members who work at Fuel Reseller Posts (PRC) must carry out theCIPA - PRC Training.

According to NR 5:
"5.7.2The training must include,at a minimum, the following items:
a) study of the environment, working conditions, as well as the risks arising from the production process;
b) notions about work-related accidents and illnesses resulting from working conditions and exposure to risks existing in the establishment and its prevention measures;
c) investigation methodology and analysis of work-related accidents and illnesses;
d) general principles of occupational hygiene and risk prevention measures;
e) notions about labor and social security legislation related to safety and health at work;
f) notions about the inclusion of disabled and rehabilitated people in work processes; It is
g) organization of the CIPA and other matters necessary for the exercise of the Commission's attributions."
